I love SS nappies. The BEST fit on Master Ash because he is so chubby in the thighs but not the tummy

Some of them are really awkward, but others are easy

And they are absolutely awesome compared to the sound of little fingers joyfully ripping open velcro..

Like anything wonderful, they have a learning curve, and from my experience, if you have a babe that is chubby legged or likes to strip their naps off then you learn quickly

It also depends on the brand - some you are fastening at the side front, some are almost behind the baby. Of course if they are wriggling and flipping over, back is good

I found them a little time consuming when DS was a NB, took me a few weeks to get the hang of it and there is no way I would go back to not using them now. We love out side snappers here.

Noticed they were a good fit on boo.

Will get used to them I guess.

There are all on nappies and one cover I had intended to use for night nappies...(a GNST and some cute tooshies) but I much prefer my BBB and Sandmen (lucky I have another on the way) so will be day nappies now so can get lots of practice in!

I'll go against the trend and say I'm not a huge fan. Also, I think it depends on the nappy. I have one which is constantly a pain to put on, but others which are ok. But I still prefer my front snap nappies by far.

ETA: My DS is a long skinny toddler, and has been since birth, so I don't get huge benefits from SS nappies like mothers of chubby babies do - mine's never had a fat roll in his life.
