Bub taking off Nappy!

Has anyone else had expereince of their little one 'undoing' their nappy by ripping open the velcro cover - t h r o u g h clothing (bonds jumpsuits)!! My 5 month little boy looked very pleased with his effort and the sound of it opening this morning!

I'm trying to think if I've seen snapping covers but I can't recall any off the top of my head ...

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Is it a cover or a nappy that he is undoing? Could you it on backwards? so the touch tape is at the back?

ETA sorry just re-read your post and you did say cover!! Have you tried woolies on him? Shorties or soakers with tie waist?

Same thing happened to me, so I changed to snaps, except DD found that fun also. "Pop pop... pop pop". So my motherease airflow (side snaps) came to the rescue. Thankfully, she's outgrown it now and is more interested in pulling other things off tables.

Thanks for the suggestions and expereinces! Love the idea of putting on the cover backwards!

I haven't used anything but PUL so far ... the woolie soaker I knitted whilst pregnant was too small from birth!

Hopefully it's just a little phase - he's certainly into pulling everything - hair, noses, cheeks - YOW!

my 6 mth old does it occasionally. I try and ignore so that he doesnt think its a game, although secretly, I think its hilarious they look so delighted and proud of themselves

I have no idea where I saw them but it was on a MCN shop/website... there are these belly band type things that you put over the snaps/velcro so they cant undo the nappy... anyone remember who sells them?
Also you could try eenees, they velcro at the back.

my DD undos any tyoe snaps, velcro, anything lol !! but se is heaps older ")
