    Default Any suggestions? TT help?

DD is very good at using the potty and toilet. She does wee's and poo's on there.

All this she does at daycare, and at home providing she isnt wearing anything other than a skirt or dress on the bottom at home. If I put light leggings on her or pants or shorts or just knickers she has an accident everytime.

At daycare she rarely has an accident. But at home I can ask her every 5 minutes if she needs to go and she says no, then within minutes has an accident. At daycare she wears knickers and pants, but they help her pull them down, which I do as well, providing we get there in time, but I ask and she says no, and she doesnt tell me. She will tell me 'potty quick' if she has nothing on the bottom. And I tell her where it is, or take her if we arent close to it and she goes. She does it by herself if she knows where the potty is (its usually just out in the lounge somewhere).

So would you just keep going with letting her wear skirts etc untill she really gets the hang of it? Or would you be attempting to teach her to pull her own pants down? (Even though at daycare where she is most confident they have to help her).

She has just finished daycare too so its all up me now

Its just hard because I know she is capable of using the potty, its just getting the knickers down. Makes it hard because I feel like she will need nappies for outings for a long time yet!

I found I needed to actually take them to the loo. Just asking, esp when you are busy playing means stopping fun and THAT is a drag!! It is a persistence thing though. I used to take mine every 1/2 hour and make them sit on the loo, sometimes they went, other times....yep five mins later a puddle!

Just persist with skirts and dresses. Get her to help with dressing and undressing herself as that improves her coordination - which results in better able to pull pants down and up. When she wears undies, make sure that they are not too tight so that they are easy enough for her to use.

Figure out how long she can go between wees and take her to the toilet just a little before that - go yourself as well :-)

The more you are involved in helping her to keep clean and dry now, the sooner she will take on the habit herself and begin doing it all independently IMO :-)
