I posted about this not long ago Night training, what to do?
Becky has been complaining more about wearing night nappies. She's been getting up several times a night asking me to take the nappy off, but she won't go to the toiletShe's happy to do so before going to bed and waking up in the morning, but doesn't/can't do it in the middle of the night. Last night after 3 changes of nappies (some of them weren't even wet so it's clearly she just didn't like to wear them anymore) I bit the bullet and put undies on her. I laid 4 layers of towels underneath her and was praying they would be enough. Well, they're not, our bed is wet
The mega problem is that we're co-sleeping so I can't just use those kid mattress protectors. So I did a research and found this Brolly Sheets - fantastic range of mattress protectors for bed wetting
It's a little expensive for a QS bed and we need to get 2 of them to rotate while one is being washed. It sounds great as they can be tumble dried, our regular mattress protector (one that isn't designed for bedwetting business) takes ages to dry and can't be tumble dried. Has anyone use these?
I also was thinking about using a bedwetter pants for her http://www.nurturenappies.com.au/sto...lt.asp?One=337
It claims it can contain around 600ml of wee so that sounds very intriguing LOL
The thing is I'm not sure which way I should go, putting undies on her and using a mattress protector or getting her a pair of bedwetter pantsI read somewhere that putting training pants/bedwetter pants can prevent kids to wake up and go to the toilet as they need to feel the wetness? Oh I don't know, this is a little confusing for me
Any advice? I know that she's not capable to go to the toilet in the middle of the night yet (gets very upset when asked) but she's very uncomfortable wearing nappies. The only thing I haven't tried is disposables nappies/pull ups.
