Potty Recommendations!

Hello ,
I was wondering if you can pass on any potty tips ...

I'd like to get a potty to try some elimination in the morning with my 6 month old bub. I'm not going to do 100% elimination, just thought I'd pop him on there in the mornings and see how we go for a little routine.

It'd be great to hear any tips and to have some potty recommendations.

I started when my DD was about 5 months. She could sit up, but not unaided. I was given a potty (see attached pic, I can't describe it) that was great, she loved it. I just put her on it when I changed her nappy to begin with and she got the idea really quickly. Have you read this site ?

I have a cream coloured one from kmart... it is like a little seat, and has a tray too... it also has a little cover to put over the potty bit so it can just turn into a seat IYKWIM. It's good because it is very hard to tip over... dd can climb into it and all over it without falling.

I like little potties for use with babies - eg the Dymples brand or the tortoise potty or the Baby Bjorn Little Potty.

My two year old has a wiggles potty. He is totally and utterly obsessed with this thing, and is always on it. As you can tell, he is also a wiggles fan, lol.

We are currently favouring the Ikea potty, high splash guard is good with boys!
