Default when do you put your baby's night nappy on?

Were taling to a settling clinic nurse about sleep stuff with Xavier. She recommends no nappy change after feeding at night to keep feeding low-stimulus etc.

Do you leave your bubs night nappy on from the beginning of the night ie after their bath etc?

Xavier had a wildchild on the whole night and it was absolutely soaked by morning and I am sure it contributed to him feeling uncomfy during night. Got me thinking that maybe I will change him in the middle of his feed at 10pm and pop his night nappy on THEN..

    tell me what you do?

They stay on all night here - absolutely sodden by morning but our great woolies solve any dramas.

We co-sleep so once I'm in bed there's no getting up

i put the night nappy on just before bed
if her bath is later i put it on after the bath if it is early i just put another one on for a while
when i was breastfeeding i would do just what you said and put nappy on just before the last bit of the feed and she would usually fall asleep then

I use a BBB with a booster on the outside of the nappy and a woollen cover (either a BBH or a hand made one) I put it on at about 7.30pm or just after his bath and it stay on till 6am.... have NEVER had a leak... we are all over the place though at the moment with teething (he has just gone down now at 9pm after waking up from a nap at 7.15pm....)

I have never tried another night nappy, too scared too! and Marlie is a HUGE wetter!

Ours go on just before we put them to bed... as in, we go into the bedroom and make a detour to the change table before putting straight into the cot/bed
Usually Pickle has only had a clean nappy on for a short time (after bathtime, there is a short play before bed) but we change him anyway...
We have used Wildchilds, Lotus and Keester Kovers.... never had a leak....
Tho our boys dont wake up once they are down for the night.... when Pickle still had a feed in the middle of the night I didnt change him unless I thought he really needed it, it woke him up too much. I would agree with changing in the middle of his feed (or even before??) rather than after if you need to...

same here. Lilli goes to change table for night nappy, then to bed.
doesn't matter when the last nappy is put on, if she's got out of the shower less than an hour before I usually put her night nappy on then.
Its always if she's going to bed within the hour, or change table is the detour to bed.
Never had issues, and we sometimes use BBB and an outside booster, but at night I tend to use either a 12ply soaker over it or a PUL cover.

When Benji is in cloth (we have to sposie atm), I put one of his normal nappies on after his bath,
and then change him as he is going into bed into another 'normal' nappy.
Then before I go to bed, I put his night nappy on.

I change her nappy just before bed. She's in a boosted BBH with a wool cover, by morning she's quite well wet, particularly now that she's discovered the joys of drinking out of her own sippy cup.
