    Default Night nappies and sizing

We have used BBB and wool at night time for the past year and a half and they have been awesome but it seems like they are getting a bit short in the rise for Lucas and I am wondering if people have found this to be a 'stage' and that they then fit again or if I need to look into making or buying some medium/long or large/long fitted night nappies for him. He is day trained and has slept without a nappy during the day with a few dry times and a few accidents but has gone back to having large itti's on for naps now. ANy experiences would be great thanks

Although Tate doesn't wear it (he doesn't need a dedicated night nappy), I find our Beetlebums wool pocket awesome and very generous in the sizing. It fits T easily at size 3/4, 16+ kg.

I have to have a reasonably high rise nappy for my son as he is a tummy sleeper - so our favs here are Snoozywuns.

Don't know whether that helps or not? He is about 13kg.

yeah i think a rise problem would mean that you would probably start looking at other options - is your bub lanky and tall?

    height is an interesting one

i have a short child (absolute bottom in percentile charts for her age), but she still needs a long rise!

so a short kid with a long rise - took me a while to get my head around that one!

i would measure your child's rise and make sure any night nappy you consider purchasing, is at least a few cms LONGER than your child's rise. Just email the seller and ask.

and the night cover (if you buy a night fitted) needs to be longer rise again. I love the woollies wiht the drawstrings, you can size up heaps and it doesn't matter - get so much use out of those. also the disana woolly pullup same deal, i bought three sizes up, didn't matter, works great.

even for kids that don't wear a high rise in day nappies, a high rise night nappy is great, cos they're lying down, wiggling about, anything to achieve containment (e.g high rise) is a plus!

My DD changed body shape (rolls on thighs dropped off) when mobility started, but her rise never got shorter.

medium long Kester Kovers AIO (night friendly) made by possum pouches has been a good one for us at night. i prefer the new pocket version now.

hard to say for your bub, i don't know your bub's stats.

baby beehinds are meant to be stocking Lotus night nappies later this year, they are a good fitted night nappy for my DD too.
