    Default Should it smell?

Hi out there. I'm new at this so excuse us if this sounds like a silly question. I have been using wool covers at night over double boosted BBH bamboo nappies ie long insert inside and also double folded between nappy and cover but am finding that the cover and the sheets underneath gets really smelly by morning. The cover doesn't feel wet but his nappy and boosters are wet. Its so smelly I've taken to lying him on a flanelette over his sheets and changing this daily although this doesn't feel wet, just smelly (urine). Is this what normally happens with wool (what they mean when it "breathes")? Or does this mean he needs a different nappy for night time? He only wears it from about 10.30 to 7, is only just under 5mths old and still well under 6kg! Appreciate any advice out there..

I had the same problems until I got a dedicated night nappy (I got a sandman) and a Disana wool cover. I tried a few different night nappies and that one worked best for me. Hubby wouldn't let me use nappies at night till I got one because he couldn't stand the smell.

Now they are slightly whiffy but no where near what they used to be (I've got morning sickness atm and can still handle the smell if that's any indication)
