    Smile Baby movement in BB

Hi! I'm new to all this but was wondering if anyone has some advice regarding fitted nappies! My 3 month old has just begun rolling over, but he seems to be unable when he is wearing his fitted nappy with cover. I have tried leaving him in just the fitted nappy but he seems to be "weighed" down.
He began rolling when we were at the coast and he was in a disposable.
    Any advice?
    Thanks

dont worry he will be able to roll over in a cloth nappy soon. thats all they had pre-disposables and all those babies managed fine
we just did lots of nappy free time for practice, and after a while all mine did it in cloth not too long after

i completely agree with you johT. my little one found it hard to roll with his cloth but it didn't stop him, just made him more determined!
for most of us who were born pre disposables we would have learnt with big boofy terry flats!
besides....i wouldn't want to rush a baby into being mobile too soon anyway hehe

Ditto to the others, my DS gets most of his practice rolling time first thing in the morning. I take his nappy off and he hangs out on the floor (wooden) with a nakey bot and enjoys the liberated feeling of peeing straight up in the air . But also that is when he does more twists and turns that when he has a nappy on, so I think it's good for him to practise rolling that way.

If you're scared of wee on carpets etc, you could try putting the nappy on with no boosters in, so it's a bit trimmer? Or even put him in a cover with only a booster? Just for playtime.

But even with the nappy, he'll eventually get the hang of it don't worry. My boys are late rollers, probably around 7 months.

Yep more confirmation that they do learn to roll over in the nappy eventually! I'm sure plenty of people will tell you that it's the 'big' nappy causing problems (I get that because my daughter has slightly bowed legs - but she walks the same with or without the nappy on!!) and the funny thing is these people are usually old enough to have only had a big terry nappy until they were TT and they seem to be able to walk with no problems!!
