As you can guess from my title she sure is feeding really well When awake all she wants to do is feed or be cuddled. She is awake a fair bit these days.

Anyway... She is soaking her nappies and growing out of the ones I made her I have to make her some bigger ones but atm with the school holiday's I don't have much time on my hands I have some SHP lushes ordered with some wool covers for at night. Just have to work out what to use during the day. Any suggestions on some cute, small, absorbent fitteds? All the AIO's AI2's I have here have leaked every time I have used them They are smalls so I am hoping they will work better when she gets a bit older (I hope). I just remembered there is one AI2 that doesn't leak and that is the only Auriel I have in my stash. She is changed very frequently but even one wee soaks the nappy. They leak out the back of the nappy.

have you tried the minky magicall pockets? They are the only nappy that I have used overnight that isn't a proper night nappy that's lasted. Give one a go if you can. There are some on B4B I believe You can boost them more if you need but I have honestly found them bomb proof!

I have a Wildchild fitted but it is a bit too big for her atm. She doesn't have a very high rise and not much bum. I have a Bits for Bots AIO but it is a bit big for her as well. Hmmm I might have to try a Bitti Boo. I couldn't use them on Deklan because he had skinny thighs but Odele's are getting quite chubby

I am finding the bubbaJ bamboo fitteds very absorbant. Even the hemp ones are pretty good. The front folds down to make a shorter rise.

The whizz kidz newborn are pretty good too. The new ones with the hemp.

I am using the wild childs even though they are a little high in the rise for him.

Bubblebubbs Bam Bams, raphaels, itti boos, (though they are gaping a little stiil) are working great here atm for fitteds.

She out wees Wizz Kids and Bam Bam's get saturated. The thing is with the Bam Bam's the snap in booster doesn't go back far enough for my girl. I get leg gapes with the Wild Child's which means wee out the leg holes. My girl floods everything. A few times I have been changing a newly wet nappy and she went again I find nappies with a fair bit of bamboo the only ones that work very well. I do like the idea of the Magicall's because they will be easy to boost if I need to. I do like the sized Bumgenious AIO but I need to add a booster to it because it isn't absorbent enough but the fit is good. I think I need to make more boosters.

I should also say that I used hemp Bubba J's for Deklan and they were good for him but I think they were the old style.

Esther do you have the flannalete whizz kidz or her new more absorbant hemp ones?

The leg gape must be more of an issue with girls than boys.

My bam bams do not have a snap in booster, hmm maybe they are sherpas, hmm.

The bubba J's size 1 fitted bambbo are really rather absorbant and have a very good leg fit, I have more wild childs on their way to me so have been thinking of selling my bubbaj bamboos. Did you see my blog with the pics of all the nappies Esther?

I must say being sleep deprived and with loads of washing to do. I am not so trilled about nappies any more Especially when so many of my cute ones leak Nothing wrong with the nappies just the way my girl wets.

why not make up a couple of little bamboo boosters to put in the nappies she is out weeing? wouldnt need much maybe a 3 layer about 10cm x 25cm would add heaps of boosting

also if she's peeing as soon as you put a new nappy on, you could try holding her over the sink/potty/toilet to give her a pee-opportunity before you put the new nappy on each time! that saved a lot of frustration when Ben was a baby!

Lately my little girl is 11 months, tends to pee within about 2 minutes of taking her nappy off. Even less. I know as she got me the other morning on my work pants (hmmm).

We were ready to go to work and she was still asleep so woke her as she was on our bed. Silly me took the nappy off, layed the new one down and picked her up for a quick cuddle before putting the new nappy on. Big mistake, wee on me and the doona, blanket and sheets. She did a good job,

After that happened I have noticed she has been weeing very soon after a nappy change. So was thinking of putting her over a potty, then I thought it was a dumb idea and she was too young. After reading your post Bek I think I am going to do it. Might save me some washing too.

LOVED Bam Bams, mine had a bifold lay in in them??? Not snap????

Anyway, as Vicky said, I had a stash of 8x25cm booster (3 layers of bamboo) that got a work out and still do. JUST love that I could get as much boosting as I wanted in the bambams as they were nice and wide in the crotch. I didnt have much luck with AIO's or narrow crotch fitted nappies until Indi was a little older.

Otherwise, a bamboo prefold boosted or perhaps a bamboo flat boosted???

Michelle from SHP used to make some fabulous contour NB bamboo boosters. I had a super wee'er as well so had to boost pretty much everything except nappies I had specially made (with extra layers of bamboo).

We used Bits for bots bamboo fitteds (size 1 once she was about 4.5kg) and NB and small Peep-O (I know they are not being made anymore but you might be able to get some second hand ones maybe?). CK Raphaels were a great fit so the bamboo velour ones Lesley makes now would probably be great.

Things have been hectic here. I don't even feel human. More like an animated zombie or perhaps a robot.

The newborn nappies I made for Odele she has out grown. I made lay-in boosters for them so will just make some larger nappies and use these inside them. I have been working on a pattern that will fit her shape and be very absorbent, while being quick drying. Also I will use them inside my BG AIO's. They fit her really well, just need to be more absorbent.

I have a lushie I have been using on her and they are great. That's why I am getting the even more absorbent ones with bamboo on the outside. They will make excellent night nappies. The lushie I have we use at night and it is great.

I know Michelle's bamboo boosted day nappies will get Asch through a big wee. Would love some of that lushy action next baby (no excuse to buy small nappies ATM). I assumed the lushies would be good for day too? We just bought some of Michelle's bamboo boosters and added them to Asch's existing nappies to prevent leaks (other brands). This has worked a treat.

I have bought secondhand itti boo and Magicalls to give them a try. Also I have discovered she can now fit bamboo delights so want to get some more of them as well.

I have my patterned worked out. I was just wondering whether to make AI2's or fitteds. I might stick with the fitteds for now until I can work out what works best for her. It seems that AIO's are more likely to leak.
