Q: when does the auction site open?
A: Tomorrow night, around this time (8.30pm)

Q: are the fees going to be comparable to ebay or less? (or more)
A: Less, a lot less, but the fees will be determined by how much you sell an item for - the difference will be substantial

Q: no listing fee then?
A: there will be listing fees, again, they will depend on the starting price

Q: is the auction site connected to nappycino or a stand-alone kind of thing?
A: it will be on a different domain, enitrely different site, with different moderators, but it will be affiliated with Nappycino

Q: What about fees for WTB?
A: there are no fees for WTB

Q: I'm guessing there will be some kind of feedback process: will there be a mechanism to appeal to remove feedback (mutually or in the event of clear manipulation)? How would that work?
A: Feedback will be similar in setup to Ebay, they can be appealed, you can also submit abuse reports. All reports will be reviewed by the auction site moderators.

Q: so can we list freebies - eg pay fpr postage only?
A: yes, pay for postage would generate a fee of 1c, which you could then ask for you account to be adjusted for

Q: And then there's the big IP question (I realise there's no obvious easy answer to that, just wondering about the general approach)
A: The general approach for IP (Intellectual Property, copyright, trademarks) is that it will be respected. if someone reports an IP breach, they will need to PROVE their IP rights

Q: so, providing pics or details for eg?
A: pics, registered trademark numbers, history of the copyright/trademark

Q: is it just for nappies?
A: no, it's for whatever you want to sell - within the law

Q: oh, that's what I was going to ask - so we can sell anything - not just nappy-related items? so other 2nd hand baby stuff for eg?
A: Yes

Q: will the site be advertised?
A: at this stage the site will not be advertised externally

Q: meaning, not deliberately advertised elsewhere, but people are welcome to spread the word? or, keep it quiet for a run-in phase?
A: yes you are welcome to spread the word.

Q: Will people have to provide some sort of real-life identification to register/sell/bid? (ie not just a free email account)
A: you need a name, address and phone number

Q: are there set time frames for the auctions or can we choose? ie. the 1 day 3 day etc on ebay
A: you will be able to set selected time frames or specify your own end date

Q: will there be a different fee structure for new items, or just if they go iver the $15
A: fee structure is the same all around for both second hand and new
