no problem - give me a day or two ok - i'll get greg to remind me of stuff too.
didn't know it but i was pregnant at the time which is why a few things i walked out on as i really couldn't take it. but it really is a new awareness and an opinion changing/shaping experience. hugs karen

I have also been to Gallipoli (1993).
It is such a moving place, so quiet and peaceful - now. My friend and I were with a couple of Canadian girls who said they had a 'feeling' just being there too (even though the Canadians had nothing to do with the Gallipoli campaign). To see the site where the ANZACs landed it is no wonder that we lost so many of them (the Turks actually lost more soldiers than Australia and NZ). To see the ages of some of the diggers... they were so young. Lest We Forget
