I will take another look at PHP chat and see what effect (if any) it has on our server. But it would not be enabled during non-chat times

and, fwiw... I just tried to load it and it crashed my browser

And now I'm trying again and it's still loading the java, but not really going anywhere...

Hopefully more people have flash installed than java enabled. I've put an updated version of our old chat program on, see navigation menu

Sure is, on the menu bar at the top of the forum, next to logout, click Chat. You need to have Flash installe but most have that now days
