Default Blueberry OSFM on newborns?

How does a Blueberry OSFM pocket look on a newborn? I've been playing with the adjustable front snaps to see different sizing, but can't really picture the fit on a newborn. Has anyone used it on their newborns, what do you think about it?

Hi ying!
DD was on the smaller side when born (5'14 or 2660g) so no MCN fitted her. But as soon as my small nappies (bubblebubs, kidz in coth, berry plush) started fitting, so did my blueberry and bumG pockets.
I found the blueberry great, obviously a bit more bulky than a sized nappy, but still a good fit. The leg elastic is great, no poospolsions out of my blueberry!
DD is still on the smallest setting, although the tabs don't cross over anymore. But as we discovered last night, she is not the tallest baby in the world :

I used bumg and blueberry's on my DD from about 8weeks i think. she was only 5pound14 so no MCN that i had fitted, i used flats until then. But the blueberry fitted well, great poo-tainment. Not as trim as my S bubblebubs or berryplush, but fine all the same. She is still on the s setting

Thanks Ange
I have some Bluerberries here and they fit my almost 3 yr old perfectly. So I wanted to see if they'll fit small babies as nicely

The blueberries were way too bulky on Zoe as a nb, but I think using smaller inserts would reduce the bulk. I sold em before they fitted her right

I only bought a blueberry OSFM at the expo so Ari was not exactly a newborn. When I first tried it he was 9 weeks old and about 6kgs.

I like the fit on him, because its a OSFM the backside gives good coverage . I am not sure I would put it on a newbie straight away with the specific insert as it would be quiet wide through the crotch but I assume with less stuffing it would scrunch up a bit and be fine.

I think I put a photo of him wearing it in the fluffy mail section. He now wears it in the 2nd rise setting.

Ying, not sure on a newborn. Well maybe my newborns as they are over 4kgs. But I think they might be bulky on smaller baby. I am sticking with fitted and covers for the first few weeks before I bring out the OSFM. The small side snap blueberries fit well on newies.

I found them too bulky on Angus (4.6kg born) but he had/has a large belly and small waist. I didn't really like them until they were on the largest rise but that's probably just me

oh and I only have the one size MF insert so that would make a difference
