Here's some of my tips
![]() 1. If you find you can't keep boosting outside the nappy in place, consider a two nappy system - a smaller trimmer nappy first, then the boosting and then a bigger sized nappy. This also allows you to get HEAPS of boosting in if you have a heavy wetter at night or a tummy sleeper. 2. Another system that works well for us is a two soaker system, where I have the option to boost in the middle of the two soakers. The first soaker isn't lanolised. Wool can hold 30-40% of its weight in moisture. The outside soaker is lanolised. I currently use two soakers at night with my "big" little man (11weeks) with a boosted BBB and extra boosting. Previously I have used this system with my big man (21 months) with the extra boosting in the middle of the soakers and had great sucess.

What great suggestions!! I'm with you though Kris......wow to the huge wetters! My two toddlers get away with a PUL pocket stufed with a cotton premium (or they may be the toddler size...can't remember!) prefold plus a small hemp booster
No leaks and that's from 6pm til 8am.(Makes my girls look positively dehydrated! )

These are great tips, thank you so much.
And Suzanne, my boy used to be the same! Could just use a Peapods with the hemp trifold that comes with it overnight with no leaks! I can't believe that now - he has become a super soaker. For overnights, I've been doing a disposable lined with a Weenees pad, with a PUL cover because I couldn't find an affordable cloth solution but these tips have given me some excellent ideas. I was getting SO over wet PJ's every morning. Of course, it doesn't help that little Beanie drinks two bottles of water overnight. But he's sleeping through at last so there's no way I'm taking those away!

Excellent idea about the two soaker system.
My DD is a super wetter and until now have finally settled after trying everything on the market to using a Poochies Bedtime pack and wool soaker. This is basically a hemp nappy with lay in booster plus a microfibre and three fold booster on the outside with another hemp booster snappe onto the outside of the nappy. I add an extra internal booster but still get a really wet soaker occasionally so a two soaker system would be my PERFECT night nappy system.

Lots of great advice!!! I espeically like the two systems idea Ali
I just can't seem to keep the outside in place. Now I have been struggling with night nappies for the past few weeks. Becky may have just became a super wee queen. The other night I tried change her during the night which wasn't easy. Well she's really annoyed and started getting very sooky. I couldn't do it all myself so resorted to another hand to (kind of) pin her down so she would stop rolling over And what do you know....she woke up saturated again Now THAT is a big wee queen ![]() I tried boosting outside with a hemp trifold last night but as I suspected, the hemp booster was rubbing against her thighs and she had really red marks on them all day I used a bamboo flat tonight so we'll see how it goes tomorrow My journey is still going on so I hope one day I'll be able to come up with a perfect solution for my big weer It's still trial an error for us here atm.ETA: I have a Poochies Bedtime sleeper. I use it with a soaker and even add another hemp booster in it. doesn't seem to work with my wee girl though. The weird thing is that she always soaks through the sides of the nappy and leaves the rest dry and it only happens to this particular nappy...very weird

I would suggest Ying, that she is soaking the sides cause the wee can get through the sides, as the rest of the nappy is too dense for the wee to penetrate at the rate that it is entering the nappy.
Just a suggestion, maybe try the two nappy system and do some layering - like fleece liner, some microfibre, then some cotton, then the hemp and bamboo. That way, the thirstier fabrics suck the wee in quickly as Becky does it, then the other fabrics will hold it. Geez, I must have done some night nappy playing to get all these ideas
