Default night nappy for small baby?

my ds is a terribly light sleper and if i change him at night he wakes up to the point that i can not get him back to sleep (sometimes takes me 3-4 hrs!) so atm he is still wearing sposies at night. since i want to stop buying them completely i need something that will work at night whilst not being enormous on his tiny butt! any suggestions?

Humm - how big is he now??? I used the BBB from pretty early on. I didn't really mind how big they looked cause nobody was going to see him and he doesn't really care.

Other than that, I am not really up with night nappies. Can you use another fitted nappy with a BBB trifold in it?

Can you use the snap in boosters in the BBB for another nappy to make it a little trimmer?

What about a pocket you could stuff to your liking? Either fleece which would be a bit boofier of course, or a poly PUL?

I used the BBH bamboo on DD when she was about that age... med vbsn, med sandman. Boofy on a tiny bottom but works fabulously Hope you can figure something out

I'd say a M VBSN - I used that on B from literally day one and he was a bit bigger than your Henry born. I didn't find it too bulky at all, but I still needed to change at night, so maybe adding a few smaller boosters on the outside and a wool cover or soaker

Hope you can find something that works, sleep is precious

I've used a Beehinds Bamboo on Caileigh from that size. It wasn't too big. I just used a wool soaker over the top.

I also used a BBB on Molly from about 6 weeks when she was still only 3.5kg. I mostly used a bummi superwhisper wrap over it. It was bulky but she really didnt care and they never leaked. I only used the two boosters provided. I have only just started adding a trifold.

our honeyboy AIO works great as a night nappy boosted... and Lachie weighs the same as your little man.
the problem is just getting ahold of some lol

we have a bit of a problem with the huge butt too, cause we co-sleep and he just nurses on and off all night and ends up with burps stuck in his belly if his bum is too high lol
