Default Help - tummy sleeper

Help, My son has just recently turned into a tummy sleeper. When he was sleeping on his back or side, I would put him in a BBB, with both boosters and an extra hemp, with a wool cover. The nappy would be very wet in the morning but no leaks. Last night i put him in his BBB, with both inserts, plus an extra bamboo insert inside the nappy and an extra bamboo booser outside the nappy between the cover, and then his wool cover. He woke around 5 and was absolutely drenched, his skin (bottom) was cold due to the wetness and his grobag was wet too. He had been sleeping on his tummy. What can I do for a night time solution for a tummy sleeper?

Thanks

Hi Bec,

Lucas is a tummy sleeper too. We use BBB and wool at night. I put the small snap in at the back and the long one at the front then I fold over the long one about 3 or 4 times and place it in front of his willy. We also use a piece of microfleece against his skin to keep him dry overnight.

When he was feeding heaps at night I used a bamboo foldup on the outside inbetween the nappy and the soaker.

I also thought (haven't tried it as no need at this stage) that you could put another BBB without the snapins over the top ( with a booster inbetween if you feel the need)

Also what ply are your soakers? I use a 10ply curly purly pattern soaker which works really well.

Anyway hope that helps PM me if I don't make any sense
