yep, i think it is an experiential thang. Until you see it for yourself, it's hard to 100% believe it.
i've felt like that about most of the MCN concepts. Skeptical until i tried it and saw it worked. i thought i would hate the handwash/lanolising routine too, yet i don't mind it (says me, a mum of one bub). With the quality and quantity of the newborn version of tiny bilby, plus my illhealth at the time, i'm still not sure newborn woollies would have worked for us, but i glad we've into them now. good on you for knitting your own, cool! how wonderful to be able to customise them exactly to your own bub (fit) and your own tastes (colours). awesome

Well Bilbylove, before you start thinking I'm clever I have to admit that I just followed Rachael's pattern and just knitted the length to suit Caelan! It took me about 3 months to finish them because I am such a slow knitter and had to keep stopping. But now that they are finished I feel really proud of myself!
I don't know how I would have gone with wool with a newborn. They are pretty full on nappy wise. BTW I have a lanolising wool wash which is just fantastic. Another thing that I was skeptical of. LOL
