Beth, nic gave some gret advice, try removing the lay in booster and see how that goes.
I'm unsure of how the nappy is overly bulky on her sides tho as there's only 3 layers there plus a cover? Feel free to pm or email me if I can help you more

Thank you
![]() I'll try taking out the booster and see how she goes in that. I am having a blonde stage as well - I totally forgot about all my extra long BBB boosters in the bottom drawer - she's growing faster than my brain can keep up with! At the moment she is a super dooper wetter because she's got a rotten cold and I'm trying to keep her fluids up (oh, the trials of bf a baby with a blocked dnose )

We have got a Sandman Bamboo and a Krap Katcher on the way. We have been using BBH with boosters and Bumgenius with bamboo boosters. Looks like heaps of suggestions on here. Now to convince DF it is all worth the $$$$

Can you tell us what this new night nappy is yet?

i've tried a reasonable number of night nappy brands, the common elements i really like and notice work well, are things like:
- hidden snaps - if you get pocket or aio, malden mills 300wt for the outer - double sided bamboo terry is so thirsty for trifolds, bamboo fleece excellent too - high rise to allow for wriggling during the night, tummy sleepers etc - if an aplix closure, my ideal would be the high tech hook and loop 2000 - no part of the night nappy to be more than two layers thick (for drying time purposes) - LOVE LOVE LOVE the snap in trifolds - COLOURED inners are my fave, preferably a plain colour - care instructions - ideal inner for me would be bamboo or cotton velour inner, with microfleece only on the booster, this is just a theory, haven't tried it or discussed it with someone who would know really, just an idea in my head, for babies that rash easily to synthetic inners. - i love side snaps for the adjustability, whether bubs is chubby or skinny legged during the life of that nappy, it doesn't seem to matter, fits either well - the fitted night naps are great cos then you can team them with a highly breathable, warm pair of longies - fitteds are good, but i think you need to factor in a larger number of them, if you use nothing BUT night fitteds, cos of the extra drying time. It's worth it, cos they're so thirsty. But if you need to build your night stash SLOWLY for whatever reason, i would buy a ai2 night nappy FIRST, purely for the quicker turnaround time (if you have a small night stash). what a pity Lotus nights are no longer being made, they're a big fave here a note on the KK AIO's - we find them excellent - a front snapper that DOESN"T give us wing droop - woot! They are called an AIO but the absorbency bit is a snap in trifold, so it seems more like a ai2 for me (reduced drying time). The inner is roomy enough to boost too if needed. My bub is over the minimum weight range for the medium long, and still on the smallest snap settings (she's been in that same size for a year now), so i think they are a generous make. My bub is a medium wetter too.
