Up until now we've used a bbh bamboo with a trifold booster and wool soaker over the top and it's worked fine. The last week however it is simply not enough, I had to change my son at 11pm last night because he the nappy was completely saturated (the smell attracted me), there was nothing left to absorb another drop. This morning he was soaked again and the wee had come out of the top and soaked his pj pants.
I think it's time to get a couple of dedicated night nappies. What are good for this age? He is about 15-16kg. I've been looking but they seem so expensive, I'm not sure I can afford $100 for two nappies, are there any cheaper but just as good brands? Or should I just be boosting what I'm already using a lot more? I've been looking at Buyforbaby but it's confusing, it seems a L isn't as big as a large in a day nappy and only a few brands make bigger night nappies. |

I hope I'm allowed to post links. What about this one? Lou-Lou Nappies Modern Cloth Nappies, AIO's, Made with Hemp and Bamboo - Large Green Night Nappy - Panda Flannelette
I don't have any of this brand and I'm not sure that's enough layers but it does fit up to 18kg. |

Sorry not to sure - I have never owned one.
It really depends on your child's build more than weight. My little man is only 13kg, but his build means he needs a XL night nappy (as well as his pee ability). I would go off of the measurements and then the weight range |

whizz kids and sandmans are lovely night nappies. i use these on ds2 (3yo) without any issues. also wool soaker i recommend a 12 ply for a heavier wetter.

Try buy for baby, I am sure an extra large night nappy will come up sometime, or put a post in wanted forum.
I use VBSN hemp L on my 12 kg 2 year old. She is on the tightest snaps and they are great. She was going through a major wetting phase when I bought them, even leaking through sposies at night. Cant think what brand they are but there are some fitted pocket night nappies, these might be cheaper if you use stuffers you already have? I would prefer a bamboo night nappy though as the hemp gets stinky. There is soooo much fabric in them that they have to be that expensive. shara |
