Hmm, I have a 7 week old daughter who wakes up for feeds at night (as she should do). I am currently using BBB with a soaker or a wool cover, which works really well and can last her all night without leaks into the clothes or the bed. Now, the leak problem is that it will leak into the wool cover most nights - what can I do about that? Any ideas? (Also, I assume it is normal that the wool cover/soaker will feel a bit moist to the touch by morning - is that right? Or should they feel all dry? They don't smell when they're dry.)
Also, if I do change her at night she wakes up big time and will stay awake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours... It doesn't fail... If I don't change her, then she goes back to sleep quite happily. How have you gotten over this hurdle? Will she get the picture that we go back to sleep at night even after a change? Thanks! |

How wet is the BBB. If it is very wet on the outside try boosting it more (you can boost on the outside too by just laying a trifold between the nappy and cover. This should help the wool cover to not feel "wet". Because wool is breathable I do find that the wool kinda feels a little damp after a whole night.
Another option would be to relanolise it HTH
