Default weird night happenings

I was going to call this thread

"naked night nappy free" but it sounded a bit sus

Felix has slept 3 nights without anything on, I mean no nappy no nothing...it happened by accident but I like it!

and has asked to go to the toilet first thing and the bed has been dry

if I put the nappy on, he wees in it.

same during the day, if he has a nappy he uses it, if nothing it is the potty 100%

It's confusing me the Toilet awareness, I just dont get that ig he knows he doing a wee or poo why he does it in undies or nappy but wont if it's not there? weird huh?

lazy Katanya! Abbi was the same still wetting nappies till I took them off her LOL same with overnight she was still soaked in the morning and now she just goes about 15mins after she wakes up. We used to do the midnight half asleep toilet trip but it is now unneccessary.

How exciting for him

yeah I think you might be right..but does this mean no night nappies either? (I have to admit night nappies are my least favourite to wash)

well he seems pretty commited to wearing nappies out during the day so we can enjoy our special ones for a bit longer

Oh wow! I'm STILL not game to try no nappies, I've been contemplating some training pants to trick her into thinking they're undies and see if she can last the night (every now and then she does get up to wee). But I'm just SCARED, I don't wanna have to change the sheets in the middle of the night LOL!

well it started with him falling asleep naked and I didn't want to wake him and thought "well we have a mattress protector whats the worst that can happen?" and had a towel on hand in case.
but nothing..not a drop or anything, it must feel really nice in these hot nights to have nothing on after nearly 3 years of nappies!

LOL Well we use evil aircon so Kira needs to have longies and a shirt on LOL.

Kira will often fall asleep nappyless and I'll then put it on her, she doesn't wake up TG! What type of mattress protector do you have? We have an awful plastic one which I hate and am not willing to use anymore.

Ashton is the same If he wears a nappy or trainers he wets them but if he is bare bum which he is most of the time we "rarely" have a problem but its just not a option when he is at day care (1 day a week) or when we go out
Yes I agree I think its just lazyness

When Dian was TT'ing she was out of nappies in the day and in a pull-up at night (I know, but it was 7 years ago and MCN wasn't around then!) and she would poo in the pull-up within ten minutes of putting it on, then dry for the rest of the night! I got fed up really quickly, so just put her jammies on at night and she never wet or poo-ed the bed. She was just being lazy, or I sometimes wonder if we 'condition' the kids to pee/poo when they have a nappy on?

I dont remember the brand but my mum gave me her good sealy bed when she went travelling- on the condition I bought one, so I got a $60 one I think from target? It's really good and doesn't rustle, it has a terry upper and waterproofing and a nylon stretch round the base. it's a queen size

yeah I think you are right Heidi and Mel its probably conditioning, he started asking for a nappy agin to poo in a few weeks back, but thankfully I've convinced him again that poos are really better in the potty!
