The thing my friend had was a fold out frame that becomes the potty, you then placed a little bag around the edge that has a pad in the bottom of it. So they wee in it and then you tie up the bag and put it in the bin. I know part of it is a single use thing but it beats carrying wee and poop around in a potty. It is good for when you can't leave the kids even to go empty a potty (like when you have a 2 year old and twins hey Ali
) It actually folds up completely flat, and fits in a handbag. If I can find it I'll post a link. It may be from the UK as that is where my friend is from. Found it!!! WOOT!! Potette Green/Blue - Ankle Biters Direct

Thanks Leah, they do look good.
Hayleys link in a previous post had them too but bambini were out of stock. a google search and I found pottytraining.com.au had them for $15 but they use TNT couriers for delivery. Another review site said that Target and Target Country had them so might pop up later and see.

Let me know if you find them at Target Trish as I want to get one too - Target Glendale has a better section for that stuff.
If you don't find them, it looks like they are here and we can order them together ![]() Baby Products

The one i have seen in Woolworths is called the Cushie Traveller and think it's the same as the one from Bambini Pronto.
One good thing about TTing a boy is they can just go behind a tree LOL or if we are at a park sometimes my DS and drops his pants and goes

I have one of the folding potties, by Tommee Tippee. I bought mine in Qatar, but I don't think they are available here. They are great as they fold flat and fit in my nappy bag so I always have it with me, so I can use it immediately and not have to run around trying to find a loo with a toddler that doesn't know how to 'hold on'. I just set it up discretely in a quiet ailse of the shop, tie up the bag and away we go. Not great as it is a disposable product, but I have often thought that one of you clever mums could make up a PUL bag with a bamboo absorber to fit instead.
The absorbent pad in the bag doesn't hold that much wee (from my toddler's anyway) so I add a disposable sanitary pad (good way to use up my leftovers now that I use cloth too) If anyone wants one I can bring them back with me in the middle of the year.

Thanks for that Sandra, I was thinking how absorbant the pad would be, Felicity does huge wees so I did think I may have to add a cheap sanitary pad to the bag.

Oh yes, we have a little one who is fussy about which toilet and wants a toilet seat insert. We use the Cute Tooshee padded one that folds up from Big W for $15 - goes on top of the existing toilet seat and fits most toilets very well. On some it is a bit unstable if the said little person is too wriggly!!! Having read this thread I have to admit the cheaper thing would be to have a second cheap potty in the car, but then going back to the car is not always viable when in shopping centre. I love our local shopping centre which has a toddler size toilet in the baby change/feeding room. Well, to re-word that, my little one loves that toilet!!
best wishes,
