Just yesterday a friend visited with a recently TTd DD and she has loaned us her toilet seat/step thingy. My DD (2y3m) saw one at another friend's house and loved it, so I thought seeing as she loved using the potty she may just love this too..... OMG she thinks it's the bees knees!!!
![]() Anyway, since yesterday afternoon (after her nap) she's used it so many times I've lost count - mostly just to sit, but also did a few wees (the first few times nothing happened, so she kept going back and trying till she managed to get a couple of drops out - she so proudly came a told us she'd done a wee in the toilet!), and today she's been bare-bummed most of the day (her knickers are still packed since moving house... I will go and buy more) and has used it with only one accident (part wee in toilet, part on floor). This arvo she was playing in the lounge and announced she had to do a poo. Without any prompting she went straight to the toilet and sat down ("Catie do it, no help!" was the emphatic cry from the bathroom in answer to my question) and I hear her grunting away for a few minutes. Next thing I hear, "Mum, you need to wipe my bum!". I walk in and she very proudly announces she's done a poo in the toilet. Of-course I had to check - and of-course she was right! ![]() Okay, so sorry for the long ramble (as DH said when we got excited about it, "Our life has turned to sh*t"), but my main question is: What is the easiest way to wipe a bum that's on a toilet? I've never had to do it before (except my own, of-course!). I have found that wet/damp wipes still work better than dry toilet paper, but it's tricky trying to manouver her to wipe - is it easiest just to lean then forward into you and go over the top of them, or take them off entirely, or lean them to the side....?? Weird question I know, but it is tricky!! Thanks for wading through my story

Yeap get her to bend over either on or off the toilet.
Neve used to sit there are just scream "WIPE MY BUM " constantly until you came. She did that up until she was 4 and we used to see if we left her would she do it herself but NO. Eventually she did .LOL

Thanks heaps for your replies
I guess at least if I get her to hop off the toilet I don't have to stick my head in it to see where I'm wiping!!
