Alex has stood to do a wee pretty much from the start. As soon as he saw daddy do a wee he decided that was what he wanted to do.

 splashes are contained and easily washed out

Put the potty in the shower, or wee in the shower? He can go to the toilet and stand up and wee - but chooses to use the potty. After we get back from holidays there will be no more potties (or bed rails).
