Default A cloth equivalent to Pull-Ups?

DS was doing quite well with staying dry overnight but we have regressed a bit since the new baby. I was thinking it wouldn't be much longer he'll be in Pull-Ups but it is going on a bit so I am wanting a cloth equivalent to Pull Ups that would be suitable for a 4.5yr old for overnight.

Would cloth training pants be the thing or is there a specific night training sort?

Since fully converting to cloth with Laila - I hate buying and putting dispoable things on James.

Thanks

I've got some Blueberry training pants that I occasionally use on Chelsea that I have found to be very absorbent. They easily hold one of her mega wees so they might be ok overnight for a just-in-case type scenario.

You can buy them from The WeeWuns, Baby Blossom & I thought Baby Soft Landings used to sell them but I can't find them on their site anymore.

I think there are some motherease ones called bedwetter pants, but we use imse vimse training pants (though I don't think we need to anymore and will phase them out soon. I love the imse vimse ones, soft, fabric-y feel, absorbant (not a full wee though).

look at teh MCN training pants
some style you do up on the child (e.g snaps) but they are easy for the child to pull up and down, even with snaps shut

starbunz at darlingsdownunder
imse vimse at nurture nappies
bongobaby has training pants called econix
noonee wilga website has training pants and EC clothing
wee wuns has happy heiny training pockets - so you can boost at night, but not in day, as you wish
blueberry training pants at baby blossom
simple simon training pants at twins in cloth (on ozebaby)
cherub's kiss pullups
motherease bedwetters
bummis trainers
woollen underpants at nurture nappies, Little beetle? not sure, maybe look under TRAINING and /or ORGANIC OPTIONS
that'll do for starters . . . .

some are like underpants with extra soaker in the wetzone
others are like pockets that you put an insert in as suits your child

Thanks! Thats a great list for me to check out I'm sure we'll find something to suit for a suitable price.

Like I said - I just can't bear to use disposable anything on bums at our house nowadays

Hi I have currently got two chilcren in overnight cloth pull ups, the older because she said disposable bed time pants were uncomfortable. Not all in Bilby's list would suit overnight due to absorbency unless you are just catching dribble before going to the toilet on waking up in my opinion, I would look into the following for big wee's overnight:
Honey Boy Pull Up (Cherub's Kiss): order direct as not usually in stock - I add 2 bamboo boosters and they hold an amazing amount even for a wee done in the middle of the night and not changed until morning (refusal by toddler!!). My 2yo is in a L and Lesley makes an XL if needed. These are my favourite because they are so gentle on chubby thighs.
Happy Heiny pocket trainer: we have a small for the 2yo and a medium for the 5yo and a variety of stuffer combinations. They work extremely well once the stuffing is sorted out and will be much easier over winter. Very bulky, but even the 5yo who wore disposable nappies overnight doesn't care - she's forgotten she ever wore nappies!!!
Blueberry Training Pants at Baby Blossom: these are often mentioned as very absorbent, I am yet to try them out, I expect to add boosters for our heavy wetters.
Motherease Bedwetter Pant: Also haven't used but they apparently hold 400ml or was it 600ml I can't remember.

Anyway, I looked into it a fair bit and these are the ones I look for second hand on Buy for Baby. Although I actually bought the Honey Boy brand new and love it - worth the expense for my 2yo. I suppose for a 41/2yo who has only regressed, I would go the Blueberry or Happy Heiny pocket - and try for second hand or buy new and sell later!!

Have fun choosing and finding what works for you.
cheers,

Anyone know if the microfibre pad in the 'Blueberry training pants' is removable? So we can boost more???
