If it were me Mel, I would give her a go in knickers. Just making sure the mattress is protected of course though, jic. I have no experience though!
BTW- Go Chelsea!!

We had no dry nights before I put them in knickers at night. Brandon's been in knickers now for almost a fortnight and hasn't wet the bed once. Emma was in knickers for about 5 nights and wet the bed every single night - so she went back into nappies, then I tried again a week later, and we had one night of success, and then wet again the next night - she's back in nappies again and flooding them! They have both been day trained for a year now.

I'd put her in knickers and see how she goes. As long as the mattress is protected, she'll be fine. Chelsea is a very clever girl!!!
She's done really well with toilet training.

I've been putting Maia in blueberry trainers I call them 'night undies' or day nappies both with woolies over the top, so if she floods them, we still don't get a wet bed cos the wool 'catches' the overflow iykwim - although she often wakes up when she wets them. We are getting about half/half dry nights. She wore her undies over her nappy last night as she was very determined
I usually use an itti, but put the trifold next to her skin and the hourglass under so she will feel wet if she does go, to try and help her want to stay dry.

I thought about using the blueberry trainers too Sue.
Last night I used a Cherubs Kiss Auriel with a wool soaker over the top. I would have been interested to see how it would have held up to a big night wee but she woke up dry so I didn't get to find out. Might try a d'lish tonight

WOW Mel - once she gets it can she come talk to Emma
![]() Em's been day trained forever (well it feels that way) and now 6 weeks without tube feeds overnight so I was hoping we'd be getting somewhere with nights and her.... but she's lazy and says she'll wear knickers and then when you are putting her to bed decides on a nappy But she is still waking up wet - I suspect if I took Julie's idea and just did the knickers she'd cope, but I'm not brave enough

I did the blueberries too - but to my kids they were still a nappy - and all their life a nappy has been where they wee and poo - so I think you just need to go cold turkey - try it for a few nights - you'll soon find out if they're ready.
