we had the same thing happen with my DS2. He had been TT for a few months and then one day he just stopped. He was just 3 at the time, so i knew he was ready (he was also starting to night train as well) but for some reason had gone backwards.
We started all over again. We initiated when he went to the loo, and i didnt trust him for months. and still now, 4 months later, if he is watching tv or playing with a special mate he wont go, and thus his pants get soiled.
My little solution for some sanity was so get a pair of jocks that were 1 size bigger, and i attached 2 layers of hemp in the wet zone and a scrap of PUL in the wet zone on the outside. That way they were still jocks so he could pull them on and off, but it saved his pants from getting flooded. I also cut down the side and attached some snaps, but i didnt need them really.
