One step backward today with TT

This morning Maya was running around in the nude after a shower. After a while she said "nappy on, nappy on, Mummy" I asked her if she needed to do a wee and she said yes, so I asked her if she wanted to do it on the toilet and she said yes.

So I put the todder seat in the toilet and popped her on. Then I got an idea that I could go and get her little people person, the little girl one that she calls Maya and the toilet from the little people house. So I brought them back and showed her that Maya (the doll) was also on the toilet doing a wee. Maya seemed really happy about this and put the doll Maya and toilet on her lap while she was in the toilet.

Then the doll Maya fell into the real toilet and Maya started crying. She wanted to get off the toilet without doing anything. We washed the doll Maya with soap and water. But Maya kept saying "poor Maya, yucky toilet"

Bugger we were going so well....oh well I guess we can try again in a few days.

oh dear that's so funny! (i mean the little people fell into the toilet part) but bugger about her not wanting to go on a toilet again though.

Nothing works with us here unfortunately. We tried teletubbies sitting on a potty and that's too much of a fun play for Becky she didn't care about herself doing the same thing

Oh no! I can imagine that will take some time to get over. My girls have all been scared of falling into the toilet at one stage or another so to see their baby go in the water would have definitely scarred them for a while.

Hope it doesn't hold Maya back for too long

Ah bugger, that was bad luck (but I like the idea of using the little doll and toilet). Hopefully in a few days she will be happy to try again.

oh poor little Maya, & big Maya, Toilets can be a little scary. I can't even get Ella near it with out her wanting to comb her hair with the toilet brush
