Default SO tell me about Flongies

Ok I have never really got into them with Flynn as he always wore wool.

I made him a gorgeous pair of longies but he now refuses to wear them.

Even though he is now TT during the day we still need night nappies.

Normal routine is night nappy and longies or shorties. This has been our routine for 2years. We don't own normal PJ's at all.

But what do i put on him as a cover if he refuses to wear wool. Are flongies ok for all night?

Where can I get some in a XL

I didnt realise you could use them as covers.... I thought they were just for 'looks'.

I would actually like to learn how to make some

They have an extra layer in them so you use them instead of a cover, well that is what I understand anyway

I've used flongies with success during the day but I've never tried them at night. I can't see why they wouldn't work though.

Sorry, can't help you on where to buy them from though.

I love them for the chuck-em-in-the-washability and how quick they dry.

At night I have used the night weight bear bottoms ones (which are only shorts).

Most have a double layer in the wetzone. If the fleece was good quality, MM etc they would work well at night I would think ...I plan to use them at night for this bubs.

They would most definately work at night. The idea of them is the same as with longies - however you don't have to lanolise and don't have to wash by hand - just throw them in the wash.

Glad Julie just replied to you!

The only pair of flongies I own are from Julie (Twins in Cloth) and I really should get some more.

They work extremely well at night and I love them especially in winter which helps keep them warm.

Bonus you don't need to lanolise them and so easy to wash...just in normal washing load and they are sooo quick to dry.

We have a couple of pairs bought from Peep-o at Wahmania. We use them in the day and they are excellent. Apparently they can be used at night although I haven't tried them on my DD.
