did she go straight from MCN to knickers? or was there a period of training pants?

i have a bub who at 18 months, STILL doesn't do "roll off" poos, i am SOOO curious what people mean about toddler poos.

reading your post, it sounds all "end of era" type stuff! a period of adjustment i guess. i know i will miss our MCN when our time comes!

congrats Abby!

lol!! Do toddlers actually do "roll off" poos??? I swear they are all "stick like clay-based mud poos!!"

Well done Abby! We're about to go down the same road so any tips would be appreciated

hahaha, I was just thinking the same thing ... Lachie has never done a "roll off" poo in his life, I don't think.

Might be TMI... Squish's poos are roll off when he isn't eating anything he is intollerant or allergic to...
But if he has been eating the wrong foods... eeewwwww... when he poos its like a messy cattle train going through the room!
He is a self decided vegetarian too!

Dh decided he was vegetarian at age 3, it stuck too and he still is.

I'm so glad i havent had to deal with Toddler poo. My two were both poo trained by 18 months.

Nah we went straight to knickers no trainers at all , she had a few accidents on the first few days and then she Got it so to speak she loves wearing knickers and is very excited about it she was soo funny her brother just pee in the yard when down stairs as he is too lazy to come up stairs to go to the toilet so abby Decided she would do the same stripped of in yard and peed ROFL .

With Poos Abby has never done a roll of poo lol I was always thinking whats was wrong with her they as they are just one big sticky mess and have never changed.

She was a bit freaked out by the doing Poo's in toilet and wanted a nappy but yesterday she took herself to the toilet and did a poo I didn't even know.

Trent was 3 before he TT and he was day and night trained within a wk and never had one accident

So in IMO waiting until they are that bit older is heaps easier and faster , With Paris I was training her at 18 mths and it took a long time for her to get the hang of it so I should of waited

Cheers Renee

Liam's the same age as Abby and he did it overnight - literally.
He woke me on Mothers Day asking to use the toilet at 6:30am....
No accidents to speak of since and he went straight to "ungies"
That is day AND night.
It is sad to realise they are growing up so fast.

Yay I see it as a happy day not a sad day Just think that you will have less washing now.

Alex day trained at 26 months within a few days also so i don't think waiting til they are older plays a part...they just have to be ready. Although my 14 month old does use the potty at times so he will prob train when he is 4
