Our day care asked for the ones you can get at Best & Less - they have a bit of padding in the 'wee zone'. I was going to send jocks - but that was what they asked for. Maybe talk to them & see if they have a preference?

I just send Gracie to daycare with one itti bitti for them to use at nap-time and heaps of pairs of knickers and pants. IMHO you don't need training pants - best to put the knickers on and see how they go. I would first be doing it while you are home with her and seeing how she goes and when she is going quite well to the loo I would then implement at day care - nice and steady for her too
And don't forget she will go back and forward re: TT But no rush and no need to stress, she will do it in her own time. Maybe have a chat with your daycare and see what they feel is best too - I know mine were really helpful as they had 'been there and done that' so many times ![]() Hugs, Bec.

Ying - we use normal undies for around the home as well as those padded terry towelling ones from Best & Less. Best & Less seem to be the cheapest for undies for little ones - I bought 20 the other month and think that it cost me around $10 / $13 for the lot - makes it easier should accidents happen.

I agree with Bec; I wouldn't be sending her to daycare in training pants until she's really got TTing and comfortable with it at home. No need to rush it, just follow her kead abd progress .Discuss with daycare that you've started the process and they'll probably start to take her regularly.
Agree that training pants aren't necessary also; Lily never wore them at all ![]()

I found that training pants just didnt work here.
It was nudie or nappy. If she was wearing her training pants (the best and less ones) she just weed in it. Even if I explained to her it wasnt a nappy. I guess it was the feeling of something there that gave her the confidence to wee in it. So we did the nudie thing for a while and now she is nappy free at home. She wears undies sometimes but its easier at home to just have trackies so she can get it off quickly. She still goes to childcare with nappies but we are going to try undies soon. I would wait with the childcare until Becky is going confidently at home ![]()

We use undies for daytimes and the Blueberry training pants for sleeps. Day sleeps Isabel is generally dry, but is wet once a week and that catches those. She also likes the Dalmation and Cow prints so asks to wear them.
I agree with the others to wait as see how she goes as you may not need them ![]()

I used undies and the training pants from Best and Less, and then Blueberry and Simple Simon Training pants at night.

With Deklan I tried to just do it at home and use nappies at daycare but he got confused doing different things. After buying a few different brands, I mostly used One Wet pants and found they were great and daycare really liked using them.
