Default she's waking up dry!

Mila is just amazing me at the moment

For a week now she has been waking up dry! She goes to bed with a nappy and wakes me at about 2am (I am usually up for feeds with Eamon anyway) and asks for a wee wee. Her nappy is dry. Then she wakes in the morning at 7am and goes to the potty where her nappy is dry again!

I wonder wether I should risk not putting a nappy on???....maybe leave the potty in her room so she can go if she needs to???

Day time is great also...no nappies at all except for poos. Still trying to convince her to do it in the potty . She has her day nap in undies too

Also we need to get her used to using a toilet so we can go out with no nappies. We did try over the weekend put we had to put the nappy on her so she could wee. I have bought her a stool and a thing that fits to the toilet seat so she wont fall in . Although she has sat on it before she hasnt used it to wee. I might take the potty away this week and see what happens

She is going great though and I am very proud

....but just as well I have a little one to get my MCN buying fix

WTG Mila!!!!!!
If she's been dry & doing wees at night for a little while, maybe you should try her in undies at night?
Now, if she can just have a word to Alex & explain to him that doing wees in the toilet isn't something you just do at daycare - that it's ok to do them at home too .
I've been putting him on the toilet with the seat insert thingy - maybe I should get his potty out again? Thing is, he's a bit too big for the potty .

Clever, clever girl!

My little man is still flat refusing to use the potty...he's been overnight dry for almost a year so as soon as I can convince him that the potty or toilet is a good idea, we're going cold turkey on the nappies. It's a bit of a power/control issue with him at the moment, but in small steps we'll get there.

Bec...I bought one of these ( Boon Inc. Potty Bench Trainign Toilet with Side Storage ) for my Monkey as he's a tad scared of the big toilet and way too big for any regular potty. It's flat across the top so they don't have to squeeze into anything. It was a little expensive (about $60 I think) but I figured it will get used by more than one child.

Bec Mila is only 4 days older than Alex. What do you mean he is too big? Mila is 16kg? We bought the babybjorn potty and she sits comfortably on it. Its higher than the average one.

Forgot to mention that Mila is still in nappies at daycare also...because of the toilet thing. So opposite to your problem Bec.

Wow Nicole night dry but wants his nappies. Its hard isnt it. Maybe some training pants might work???

He's 20kg & wears size 4 clothes. He's literally too big for the potty - his bottom won't fit in it & he has to squeeze his doodle into it .
