![]() ![]() Becky did a poo in the potty the first time today! OMG, this little girl keeps surprising me with this whole potty thing again. We had a nappy free time which 9 times out of 10 will result in puddles on the floor even though she's done her first wee in the potty last month. Today she was grunting or mumbling as if she wanted to do a poo. So I said to her if she wanted to poo, just go and grab a potty (and of course wasn't expecting a success). Then she sat on it and made a noise I thought she's playing and a little while later she hopped out and said "mummy look at that!" We've got lots of poo in it!! ![]() She was so excited she danced around the house and then made a little noise again So DH asked if she wanted to pee, she didn't reply but ran back to the potty (which had been emptied the poo out) and did a wee!!! Hopped out and paraded the potty around the house saying "well done Becky!" ![]() We were so proud of her of course I'm not quite sure how I'm going to go from here. It seems to me she really gets it, she surely knew something was coming when she ran to the potty right? Does that mean she'll continue doing it again? She didn't want to do it after she did a pee in the potty the first time though.

Yay Becky! We have just had some success on the potty in the past week here - unfortunately timing isn't the best with me being about to give birth but I am trying to give nappy free time as much as I can handle.
I just keep offering, keep encouraging (which I've been doing for ages without much luck, but maybe it is nearly time now). Although I try not to make too much of a big deal over it in case he expects it every time ![]()

Well done to Becky! Sometimes it just clicks with them. They understand so much but it is remembering to go BEFORE they start weeing that is the problem at first. I hope she has got it now and you can say bye bye to nappies
