What to do?

Sounds like she's doing great Ying. I would actually put undies on as soon as possible so she gets use to making sure she leaves enough time to get them off before going. Go with her cues and you can't go wrong.

Things are still going great today, so it's not just a novelty I was suspecting She kept sitting on the potty everytime she wanted to pee & poo. She loves to get up and yells out "well done Becky" and "this is fun mummy"

We had a few accidents whenever she's wearing undies and pants. She certainly realised when she needed to go but couldn't wait until the pants come off. I think she still needs a bit more time to get used to undies as I reckon she still thinks they're nappies.

So we're going nudie at home all the time now. Not an ideal time to TT but oh well LOL

Why isn't it an ideal time to TT? I think anytime that your child is willing & able is a great time

Maybe if you took her out to choose her own special knickers to wear, she might be more careful about not getting them wet. I found that worked well with all 3 of my girls. Once they had their Hi5 or Barbie knickers they got most upset if they got wee on them & they soon learnt to make sure they got to the toilet in time

Sounds like Becky's well on her way now & will be TT'ed before you know it

I wish my boys worried about wee'ing on the Wiggles or Thomas! They seem to think it is no problem...in fact a bit funny. Well done Becky!

Sorry Lindy but I have to admit I had a bit of a chuckle when I read that

ETA - my girls were all at the 'almost there' stage by the time I let them choose their own knickers. I just had plain (read cheap ) ones for them to get started with & once they pretty much had it, I took them shopping. I used it as a way of reinforcing that I trusted them to keep their 'special knickers' clean & dry & I guess I was lucky that each of them responded to that.

Well choosing knickers probably isn't going to work. Becky isn't that type of kid and I'm sure she wouldn't care less if she wee'd on Thomas either (yes she loves Thomas). I was going to get some Dorothy the Dinosaur undies the other day and the size 2-3 still seem a bit big on her. The only ones that fit her nicely now are Rio (and they're quite plain), I bought a pack of 9 for only $8.50!

It's not an ideal time because the weather is a little cold for bare bum Melissa although she doesn't seem to be bothered. Besides I can't let her play in the backyard nudie as there are some workmen at the construction site right next to us (and no, they haven't put our fence back up ).

We're going to get that toilet seat thingy for her and let her experiment with using a toilet very soon

oh I see I never did bare bums when we were toilet training so didn't have that problem. I don't think kids feel the cold like we do. My girls prance around the house in nothing but fairy dresses all day & they never seem to be cold

We bought the seat thingy about a month ago but Mila still didnt want to use it

So last week I printed off a reward chart from supernanny that has a fairy/flower garden and a little girl that travels through the garden. Well Mila loved moving her to the next flower and hey presto she is using the toilet!!! Her reward at the end was some purple play doh
