I would personally use cloth
I know that when we did the nappies in the laundromats in Czech we put them in and then returned after a really nice walk etc about an hour later to sort them out. We then put them through the dryer (obviously without covers etc!!). It wasn't a bit stress at all.The decision is obviously totally yours but using cloth is very do-able

pockets? we did tassie in sept, and used pockets. i took about 12 and that was too many - perhaps 6? we washed each night. use prefolds for days (i'd take a few extra) and one hemp booster for nights?

cloth is definitely do-able! there are quite a few testamonials in this section i am sure!
on holidays i wash nappies in the shower, or in a bucket. then hang on a line or a clothes airer. pockets really are fab for quick drying. we have all-in-one pockets and the fitted ones. i find that since i use cloth anyway, i'm happy to continue with what i know and like. i have a sposie phobia! so have used cloth on our little and big holidays .. our biggest was to europe for 6 weeks. so envious of you going to brissy. we *loved* caloundra when we visited in sept. have an awesome time whatever you decide

You mean you were in Caloundra and didn't ring A? I agree Suzanne... very doable. We've been camping with pockets many times. Bucket with a lid in the shower, rinsed, hand wrung and hung... dry very quickly. ![]()

I have always used disposables when I have travelled with Chelsea
![]() Each to their own, but I honestly think disposables do have their place on occassions (just like disposable plates, cutlery etc ) & travelling is definitely one of those occassions imo.The first time I travelled with Chelsea, I had every intention of using cloth but when it came time to pack, I just couldn't fit everything I needed into our suitcase because the nappies were taking up so much room. I was travelling by myself with Chelsea & wouldn't have been able to manage another bag so I just bought a small pack of disposables & took them instead. Ever since, I have always just gone with the disposables for travelling. Funny story though, when we recently went to Melbourne Chelsea got quite upset a couple of times because she didn't want to wear the disposables. She kept asking for her purple nappies (her purple BBB are her faves )! I was actually quite chuffed because my best friend who came with us often makes comments about cloth being too bulky & that it can't be comfortable for Chelsea so she was quite surprised that Chelsea kept asking for her cloth nappies
