This is directed at people who HAVE and REALLY LIKE using the Little Squirt at home.
What do you do when away from home, travelling? Especially if your child does NOT do roll off poos? I'm worried about putting nappies with lots of poo still on them, in public laundrette washing machines. I would really appreciate some understanding answers, i know i'm a wuss, but i need to get my head around this. (for future travel). We installed the Littel Squirt when i was pregnant, have never used MCN without it.

Would you maybe rinse it off in the laundry sink?
(now I think I better get one)

I already use those for childcare day, but as bilby rarely does roll-off poos, they aren't that effective for us right now.
So there isn't much poo action that coudl be flicked, scraped, etc - i must be the only mum of a 20 month old who DOESN"T do the roll off poos!!! i think if bilby did the roll off poos, i would not be Little Squirt addicted. JOHT - i got my LS 2nd hand. Her business is so messy and if i left it as is until the wash, i'm sure everything would be stained and horrible. THe LS gets rid of it all immed and our nappies stay looking great.

Heya Bilby
![]() When we went bush with no flushing loo/laundry, I used to wipe off as much poo as poss with loo paper (we had the red PeaPods so all nappies were fleece lined in black - mwooohahaha!) and/or use a squirty bottle of water to 'squirt' the rest - not AS effective as a LS but still ok. Also did loo paper inital bum wipes for the bulk of it, then tidy up with a wet wipe. Next option was if there was a flushing loo, to hold and flush - honestly it's no worse than anything else you have to do with nappies and gets the bulk of the poo off, bonus Hold the end of the nappy same as if you were using a LS, and flush.Either of those two methods will substantially reduce what quantity of poo is left on the nappies and at the end of the day in the washer would be no worse than someone's skid mark undies/knickers, vomit on a shirt etc etc oh yes... I took flushable liners but forgot about them lol HTH ![]()

the reasons for my trepidation:
once at a relative's house, i tried to flush the contents of a really messy nappy down the loo, and NOTHING budged!!! So that did not inspire confidence in that method for me. for a trial run, i bought a pressure bottle from a hardware store, you "pump" the bottle of water, then (using two hands unfortunately) i attempted to "pretend Little Squirt" the nappy contents off the nappy inner - it didn't do much either. Maybe i just can't go anywhere until bilby has solid, formed, roll off bowel motions.
