I just got this email from paypal:

I checked my account and there's no such transaction. So I guess this is really a bogus email. What do I do? Just ignore it and delete it from my inbox?

Yep, definitely a scam, they wanted you to click on the link in the email and then they would have got your details

It's so easy to do!! I count myself pretty net-savvy and have nearly done it a few times ... esp when you are in a sleep-deprived haze or got a baby on your lap or something *shakes fist at scammers*

My Paypal account and ebay account were hacked about 18 months ago and the dispute went on for months. There's a lot of weird and crazy stuff people do out there that I can't even comprehend how they are able to do it.
