Hoax Krispy Kreme vouchers
I received this one during the week - a .pdf file with a Krispy Kreme voucher offering a free dozen doughnuts with every dozen bought. It looked dodgy to me, but it had come from a friend that is usually reliable with stuff like that.
We (work colleagues) thought doughnuts would be good for morning tea, so we phoned KK to check if the voucher was genuine. Surprise, surprise, it's a hoax, and has been giving them heaps of hassles because people trying to use it are all getting angry with the KK staff for not honouring the vouchers. There was also a Wendy's voucher attached to the email, I presume that's also a hoax, but we didn't check that one. (We did get our doughnuts anyway - one of the guys had an entertainment book & had a genuine buy 1 doz get 1 doz free voucher).
